First in the "Il Cirque" Series Portobello, the Happy Jester Cast in 100% lead-free, fine grade pewter, Portobello is 13" tall, including base, weighs 7 lbs, and his girth is more than his height. He has inset acrylic eyes, is painted in tough enamel and mounted on a 4 x 4 x 3/4" black marble base. Each is individually cast, hand finished, and hand painted. No two will be exactly alike. Bookends This McPrune character was fashioned after one of Honore Daumier's 19th century caricatures. The real Doctor Prune had a "bison" head which made him the butt of jokes in the newspapers. Cast in 100% lead-free, fine grade pewter. 11 3/4' tall, including base, each weights 4 1/2 lbs. Painted in high gloss enamel. The back is hollow and unpainted. Mounted on a 6 x 3 x 3/4" green marble base. Because each piece is individually cast, hand finished, and painted, no two will be exactly the same. The McPrune pieces may be purchased individually.
